Editing Vegas Pro audio tracks with Sound Forge

Problem has arisen with update to Vegas Pro 18. When I click on audio track to send copy to Sound Forge I can edit the audio. When I try to save it - it will not allow me to overwrite the file and asks for new name. Did not do that before. If I give file a new name if puts in into Vegas on a new track and does not overwrite the original. I then have to remove original track/clip and move new one into its place. This action was not required in earlier Vegas. Is this intentional or a glitch? Thanks. Fred Dispensiere.
