Google QuickTime for Windows. It should take you to the correct page but it is a very old release. It should work once downloaded onto the pc. No additional measures are needed. MEP should pick up the codec is installed. QuickTime Alternative is equally old and can be used instead.
downloaded Quicktime 7 from Apple. reinstalled. booted Win10. Relaunch movie edit pro plus 2021 and when selecting .mov get "Quicktime is not installed. Quicktime must be installed in order to play this file." I would include screen capture if allowed to here. What am I missing?
Apologies, I do have .mov's that Movie Edit Pro Plus has no problem with. This file was created with an early camera - a Kodak Easy Share V570. May have never been to Quicktime spec, but did successfully convert it to MP4 via Movavi Video Converter. So I'm good - but thanks.
To reboot completely you should use the restart power option to reboot and not shut down and then restart the machine. This will ensure a clean reboot and not save the machines last state of operation.
