My editing pointer has become frozen as Scissors. I uninstalled, restarted the computer and reinstalled. It still remains as Scissors, making it impossible to set properly.
As you have discovered, simply uninstalling and then reinstalling does not always resolve such problems since some files/folders are created after the initial installation and the installer log does not know about them!
So, I would recommend you read this tutorial and follow exactly the procedure to remove everything related to the installation of AML from your computer. Then reboot the computer and reinstall and see whether that has given you back full control of the program.
If there are still problems, have a look at this page which is a Windows information page about a troubleshooter which is designed to resolve problems with removing and installing programs.
Thank You. I printed out that Tutorial, but I had already corrected the problem (I Believe). Went to Options, clicked on Edit Mouse Mode, it was already checked and remained so. The Pointer reverted to normal.
