SoundForge Pro PC My client sends me customer interviews recorded in offices with echoes from hard surfaces. He is reluctant to use an aux mic. Any way I can remove some/all of the echo?

@Chuck-Reaves You can try Acon Digital Deverberate. It is pretty good in my opinion.

There are a number of 'de-verb' plug-ins available. I have used Plug-in Alliance SPL Deverb, SpectraLayers Pro 7 and iZ's RX Advanced.. None work very good on critical distance reflections and produce artifacts when pushed. I am not aware of any freeware offerings.
