I have burned my video, standard defination, to a DVD and it won't play in a DVD player. It play's fine in the computer but I need several copies for people who don't have computers. Is there a setting I need to set in order for it to play in DVD players?
The first thing you need to check is if you are in a NTSC region (Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Japan, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Puerto Rico, South Korea, Taiwan, and U.S.A.) That the DVD was burned in NTSC format. If you are in a PAL region (Europe, Africa, and most of Asia) that it was burned in the PAL format. I am pretty sure that the default in MEP is PAL, so if you burned the DVD in the PAL format and are in a NTSC region it likely will play on many computers but not on local DVD players.
