drum machine

Albie-Llada wrote on 11/16/2019, 4:40 AM

I had not turned on my computer for six months.

I started creating music on my music maker software 14 after turning the computer on.. . All functions worked.

After windows forced me out with windows 10 upgrades, my drum machine is now asking for a number to authorize my drum machine vita 1 access. I think windows erased my access to the drum software.

The software prompts me to send a request to get my access. I get and error message stating that there is an error connecting. It is not a internet connection issue.

Now I am stuck without my drum machine access.

I need help to fix this bug.

Hi

We need more information - see this topic for details about your computer specification, Windows version and the Music Maker version number and full name.

Additionally were you using Windows 10 six months ago or an older version?

I did write that it is Music Maker 14.

However, it is a 1.4 dual AMD chip, 64 bit processor.

I 've had it for years. Right now I can't find the CD case with serial number to re-download. Magix 14 music maker since is asking for serial number kn the website under downloads.

I hope the software finally let's me contact the company to give me this fix. The problem is that Windows 10 suddenly had a upgrade download applied to my computer two days ago.

@Albie-Llada

Hi

Help us to help you by giving accurate and complete information asked for, the topic I linked to above lists the required information to get the full picture of what we are dealing with, otherwise it is necessary to make assumptions and ask more questions.

. . . Windows 10 suddenly had a upgrade . . . .

Do you mean upgrade ie from Windows 7, 8 or 8.1, or update from an earlier version of Windows 10?

What is the Windows 10 version number?

. . . . I did write that it is Music Maker 14. . . . .

Without the version number as found under Help About. . . we have to assume that this is Music Maker 14 released in 2008 and not Music Maker 2014 abbreviated or version 14.xx.xx.xx.

On this assumption, then Music Maker 14 is not compatible with Windows 10, and you cannot upgrade to the current version using the old versions serial number - for that you need Music Maker MX or later.
