Drum loops

Trying to write some rave type music. Bought some trance loops. The only loops I use are drum loops as I want to be almost 100% creative. I am relatively new to Music Maker. I have been finding the drum loops a bit boring. I'm not a drummer and sorry for my ignorance but are you meant to layer different drum loops on top of each other to vary the sound a bit, and get a thicker sound, and mix and match different drum loops?

@Alex-Kirkwood Yes, combine them like you want. As long as it sounds good to you anything is fine.

You can drag and drop WAV drum loops into the Vita Sampler instrument. This allows you to trigger short snippets (or longer parts) of the loop. You can also play the snippets backwards or loop them. This will give you lots of variations easily..
