@Anne-Shuker Hello! Do you mean compressing like an audio compressor?

Can you upload two screenshots of your project before and after you inserted the sound effect?

Anne-Shuker wrote on 10/4/2021, 6:20 AM

Thank you. No I mean it shorten the whole project from 137 bars to 114 bars the item I am dragging in is only 4 bars. It just automatically does this as I drop the sound effect in. If I delete it out again it restores to 137 bars.

How do I add the photo of the screen to this? Its not on this computer.

@Anne-Shuker It would be helpful to see a screenshot. You can make one with the Windows Snipping Tool that comes with Windows and upload it here with the arrow icon above the textbox.

I've taken two shots with my phone which I've now plugged into this computer.

@Anne-Shuker Do the missing parts reappear if you click on the double arrow icon ("<=>") in the button right corner of the arranger windows?

Hi

. . . . it shorten the whole project from 137 bars to 114 bars the item I am dragging in is only 4 bars . . . .

Try changing the Program settings, Adapt waves automatically to the BPM option, then try importing the audio file again.

No the brown bar line changes to grey and jumps to 277 but doesn't take the music with it.

@Anne-Shuker

Hi

Did you try turning off the option and import the audio file?
