Downloads not showing

Paul-McGowan wrote on 5/30/2024, 4:24 PM

Hi there, now that I have the FULL version, a pop up came up when i opened stating I can download additonal program content.

I did - which included Fades/transitions and many more.

I closed and reopened.

But still the same amount as before, very limited amount.

Am I missing the location of these additional items?

Has anyone else experienced this? downloading but not being able to access what you downloaded?

thank you, 2024 version of Movie Studio Platinum

@Paul-McGowan

Hi

After the Extra Content is downloaded did the installers run and complete the installation? You may have been prompted to give permission for the installs.

If installed correctly you should see this indicated in the content downloader if you re-run it from Help, Install extra content.

Try doing a Restart of the computer not a shutdown.

If the content is not installed and you elected to keep the install files they should be in the Magix downloads folder in your Documents folder and you can run them from there, otherwise you will need to download and install them again.

Yes all of what you said is done and they are located in downloads folder. I installed again but just the same.

Am I missing something or should there be more fade/transition options than this?

Thank you

@Paul-McGowan

Hi Paul.

Unless you have bought additional transitions from the shop that is the correct amount of fade / transition effects which is six sets.

If you have ProDAD Vitascene Transitions there should be one additional block on the left entitled Additional effects which would open up further transitions..
