Downloading Archived Photos on Magix Online back to PC

bbaxter wrote on 4/30/2012, 12:46 PM

I recently had the need to download an archived photo from my online Magix Photo Album to my own PC. There is a download icon and something appears to happen but I simply cannot find any of the several photos I tried on my PC. Where are they downloading to? Am I doing something wromg? Also, my album forbids anyone from ordering a print but I don't recall ever setting this up?

I've tried this using Chrome on several Windows versions and most recently an HP IQ500 using Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 2 installed.

Many thanks

Bobby

Hi

Open Chrome and click the spanner top right of the Chrome window and select Settings.

Select 'Under the bonnet'  the download location is stated there.  This is where your photos should be.

Hi John,

I understand that .. I am an IT techy myself BUT these images simply do NOT download . I changed the setting in Chrome to ask for the download destination and when I selected download from the main "Manage Content" screen, after ticking an image, nothing happens. Sorry to be a pain but I need this fixed please.

Regards

Bobby

Hi

Does the same happen with IE or Firefox?

I do not use Chrome as my main browser - only for testing website compatability.
