I purchased and downloaded the premium version of music maker, it says "Please Wait... Initializing Content" for an hour so far, It seems frozen, and I have a fairly fast internet connection. What should I do?
@Jason-Smith What are your hardware specifications? Does your computer meet the minimum requirements for running Music Maker ?

Are you running other software at the same time when you start up Music Maker? This can cause also cause problems.
Just google chrome, my internet connection is almost 500 mbps.
Now I got a new problem, I accidently signed out while it was initializing, I had to restart the initialization
@Jason-Smith I would try to disable your firewall/Windows Defender temporarily and then starting Music Maker as administrator (right click on the program icon). Does this help?
Now it won't let me activate my software, though I paid for it and downloaded it.
I bought the Disc bundle for back up, hopefully this resolves the issues.
@Jason-Smith Where did you buy the software initially? From the shop on Magix.com or a third party seller? What was the error message you've got when it didn't activate?
No error message it just wouldnt activate, and it kept initializing. I bought it from the magix shop.
Having the same issue - purchased directly from Magix - if software cannot be activated - what good is it? Sorry, disable Windows defender, or right click, open as administrator - why doesn't it just work
right click, run as administrator, and it seemed to work. Still not sure, but I am the software, and listening to the sample projects.
