downloaded fine but instillation not progressing in progress box

hi, i have looked through to see if i could find anyone else with the same problem.

i just brought the 2024 download version of magix music maker, however after the exe was downloaded i clicked on it and it went to the progress window but for some reason it don't progress from 0% the little blue circle goes round but after about 30 seconds goes onto a pause mode i click the continue button and it just keeps doing this cycle with it going to pause mode.

my current laptop I'm using has this spec:

windows 11 pro
Processor   Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9850H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz
Installed RAM   32.0 GB (31.8 GB usable)
System type   64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch   No pen or touch input is available for this display

please help

@terrence-norman Your firewall or Windows Defender might be blocking the download. It usually helps to temporarily disable the firewall or Windows Defender. Enable it again after the download has finished.

thank you SP. for some strange reason, after a restart which i just did as i was having trouble with another program, it's now gone from this stage and installing fine.
