Hi, I purchased Acid Pro 10. Downloaded and installed. No loop content to be found. Seller won't help. I got info from Magix forum to download from Help on the Acid program. But there is info regarding paying for the license. I am looking for the loops INCLUDED with the package I purchased and registered. This is most unusual.

Inevitable question: who is the seller? From what you write it sounds as if you might have purchased an "unofficial" copy of the software, especially since you say that when you click on Help you receive info regarding paying for the license.

The Ebay listing says you will be supplied with a serial number; did you receive that and enter it when prompted to do by the software? Is it that number which is leading to the problem info regarding paying for the licence?
If so, it seems that the seller might have supplied you with a number which is in some degree, incorrect or even illegitimate. That is something you need to take up with him and, if you receive no satisfactory answer, raise a dispute vie Ebay.
Given those circumstances there is nothing anyone here can do and nor can Magix Sales help you, I think.

That's a sort of brush-off, I think. I did run the downloads, and the note about "purchasing" etc. va nished. I think it may have bween a generic link as I had just registered minutes before, but among all the folders and folder trees and etc. that downloaded, I've only found a few loops. Is this normal? My last version {7) came on discs and it was very easy.

That is an opinion unfortunately not backed up by facts, as there have been instances of sellers on Ebay doing exactly what @emmrecs has said.
The purchase contract is between you and the vendor on Ebay, it is their responsibility to provide you with a working serial number, if they are of no help, take the matter up with Ebay - that is the standard procedure for items purchased through Ebay.
Once you have activated the program the extra functions, Instruments etc should be available - you may have to download and install them.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I got that already. I registered and downloaded. Can't find the loops, except for a few. This is, so far, a completely useless forum experience.
Again, is there supposed to be only one sound sample in those folders? A very long one with jpg and midi file and a folder for fx store with just empty folders?
