Download Manager instantly crashing, is there a direct download?

I'm trying to download & install Web Designer 15 Premium using the download manager program, but it instantly crashes after authorizing UAC, I see a quick graphic come up that looks like a "loading" circle and then it disappears, and watching my task manager I can see the MxDownloadManager.exe start after running the DLM, and then close itself silently after about 10 seconds. I get no error messages, I can't find any crash logs in %appdata% local or roaming, nothing in temp folders, the MAGIX Downloads folder in Documents contains only a previously downloaded installer for Music Maker.

I'm trying to find a direct download of the full installer. I purchased the recent Humble Bundle and all of the downloads are only for the download manager... if this is the kind of thing I can expect, I can't wait to try and get the rest of the bundle installed ๐Ÿ˜’ I've tried both the file downloaded from Humble Bundle, as well as going through MAGIX Download Center which appears to provide the same file, just with a different filename (Web_Designer_15_Premium_DLM_Humble_Bundle_2017_171204_11-40.exe <- Humble Bundle download, webdesigner15premium_dlm.exe <- MAGIX Download Center download. Both are exactly the same size at 4,781,520 bytes.)

Any help finding a direct download, or at the very least figuring out why the installer is failing and how to fix it, would be appreciated.

Hi, welcome to the Magix forums.

AFAICS, Magix make onlyย the download installers available now; I don't think there are any direct downloads. So, I think you need to raise a support ticket here and choose the option to contact Customer Service.

Hi

Check that you Windows firewall or AntiVirus program is not blocking MxDownloadManager.exe.

Thank you johnebaker, I think that may have been the solution. I added an exception for MxDownloadManager.exe to my AV and it seems to be working now. I'm just now getting to have another go at getting these installed, so apologies for taking so long to follow up.
