Download error + autoclose

Simone-Rosso wrote on 10/4/2020, 1:10 PM

Hi all;

I think I have a poblem with my account, because  (in the desktop application) every time that I try to download last patch it says "download error", or when I open some file with more than 8 tracks it says that i just can use 8 tracks and then again the same download error and it autocloses itself.
What is this error? Do anyone knows how to fix it?

Thanks

Hi

Which version of Music Maker?

If you cannot open files with more than 8 tracks then this suggests that you are either

  1. running the Free version of Music Maker

    and/or

  2. have not activated the Plus or Premium version

    and/or

  3. are not logged into the Store

I am also having this error. I purchased the Music Maker Plus and registered it. Now when trying to open projects I'm told I can't have 8 tracks and need to purchase "More tracks & Formats" despite using the program fine for months. I can't activate it again because it does nothing when I put my serial number in and press activate. I also get an error when pressing "Manage your subscriptions" which says "An error has occurred during the purchase process".

I cannot log into the store as it just takes me to the screen asking me to enter my serial number.

EDIT - I fixed this by logging out in the program, restarting it and logging back in again. Looks like the store cache got it's bits in a twist.

@Simone-Rosso, @longPointer

Hi

Did you install all the extras that become available under the Download tab once you registred the software?

If not do so, these include the More tracks & Features.

Hi,
I'm sorry XD because you had an avatar I though you were a moderator.

I've sent a report that automatically is shown when I get the error, maybe I should open a ticket to support (I've tried yesterday but unsucessfully)

Cheers

EDIT: I saw that I get the problem just when I'm logged in. If I logout I can use the program with limited features, but when I do the login, It shows the error popup and autoclose.

Try Cleaning up the Store - Program Settings (P key), General options tab when the program restarts try logging into the Store.

Hi John,

Try Cleaning up the Store - Program Settings (P key), General options tab when the program restarts try logging into the Store.

I did it but then, when I log in the program give me an error.

@emmrecs and I are Moderators as indicated by the M in the small hexagon,

Ok, now it's clear.
