Download and installation

I tried to install Soundforge 16 and the additional data that needs to be downloaded after the installation is started is WAY WAY too slow at 16kb speed, Just the primary part of the additional download is 1 GB plus an addition 1.5GB for addition enhancements. The estimated time for the 1st part is over 20 hrs (960mb)!! I will need to find some other way to get this installed or I will need to get a refund! I will need a DVD disc or a much faster download site on your end. I have a 500mb internet connection so it is not on my end...I am using win 10

Downloading Sound Forge from the installation manager has been a common issue lately. Try again, temporarily disabling your anti-virus or. if that does not help, download the 'unpacked' installer directly from the links in this comment. The other items should download and install from the manager OK though if the main Sound Forge apps is not check-marked,

I can confirm the low speed you are getting ie 16 kb/s, this evening.

Yesterday I was getting higher, more "normal", speeds averaging 20 - 25 MB/s (160 - 200 Mb/s).

I have sent in a report of the slow download speed to Magix for them to have a look at the issue.
