Version 15 does work on Vista 64 bit. If that's the version you're having problems with, it might just be some general installation problem - maybe an intermittent problem or a software conflict. You might want to try installing in Windows "safe mode", as a quick and simple way to work around a lot of installation problems. (Keep tapping your F8 key while the computer is booting up to get into the appropriate menus.)
