recently acquired SFAS12, installed most recent update and have a couple issues. my windows mouse click settings is that a single click is treated as a double click. while in SFAS12 this is not being recognized (i.e.in its explorer). also, is SFAS12 able to use windows themes? can the empty background of SFAS12 be changed? can SFAS12 preferences be more enhanced to give users more control?

Hello @CapiceInKY,

thanks you for your feedback. I will try to awnser all your questions.

my windows mouse click settings is that a single click is treated as a double click. while in SFAS12 this is not being recognized (i.e.in its explorer).

do you want to load files with single click?

also, is SFAS12 able to use windows themes?

in most of the dialogs SF is using the windows theme. E.g. the effect dialogs. We will continue to change the UI in a way that all dialogs use the windows theme.

can the empty background of SFAS12 be changed?

do you mean the color of the background?

can SFAS12 preferences be more enhanced to give users more control?

yes of course, during the further development of SF AS 12, there will be more and more options for the user to customize SF.

do you want to load files with single click?

in general, as i access any drives in SFAS12's "files" tab, this is where a single click does not recognize the double click function.

do you mean the color of the background?

not necessarily. can the desktop image (the hammer guy) be turned off or changed? more control of the UI would be helpful.

we will have a look into it and we will take your feedback to our planing. Thanks for the good hint.

There is no offical way to hide the image from the ui. In further we will give the user more control over the ui.

Hi - recently upgraded to V12 and I'd like to back up Richards comment elsewhere about the new Graphic Fade function.

I use the graphic fade system in SF10 very extensively as, weekly, I have to process a live recording made in less than ideal circumstances (over which I have no control) and the graphic fade in that version has allowed me to very quickly and easily iron out the peaks in a block of audio, suppress the coughs, raise the quiet speakers and create a very acceptable recording in a short space of time. I've been unable to find a way of doing this in Version 12 so for this reason alone I've gone back to version 10 for now - sorry.

By all means keep the new function as I can see it's place but please give us back the old one as well as there was nothing I've seen at this cost level to touch it.

Same applies to Pitch Bend - in V10 you can have multiple points which I have occasionally used to great effect and that seems to be absent in V12 - not a deal breaker for me though but it's a shame to lose a function.

Thanks, David
