I installed the TRial Version of Movie Edit Pro and when I went to add a video to test out. I get an error: DirectSound Error: Out of memory
I've checked the DirectSound via dxdiag.exe it says it's all good. I'm not running any other programs.
Please help.

Direct sound is not the most efficient method of getting sound within MEP.
Go to File \ Program settings \ Playback and set the audio to use the wave driver instead and try that. Make sure it is connected to the correct sound output.
Direct sound is difficult to set up correctly even though it seems to be the default setting in MEP.
