digieffects Phenomena crash

MEP 2013 crashes when I attempt to apply the digieffects Phenomena plugin. THe startupl window opens ok, but when I select anything other than "Rain" the program crashes, creates a crash log which I have sent to support. I also ran the system check software and sent the results. The response was to contact Digieffects. I had already went that route. There response was to contact Magix support as the plugine was lic to Magix.

I have updated all my system drivers. Running two Nviidia 580m video cards (not in SLI mode, Windows 7 64bit). On a maxed out Alienware Laptop. I have also had the same crash on my Desktop (Windows 8) with a Nvidia 8800GTX video card. I have a Digieffects plugin with some of the same effects for ADOBE AE CS6 working fine on the laptop.

Anyone else had this problem?

Thanks

Hi,

I'd never used it before but I've just ran some tests in MEP 2013 Premium Plus and conclude that it's buggy. Looks like Magix didn't test it thoroughly before sticking it on as yet another 'extra'.

My success rate was apparently higher than yours though. Of the 11 effects the following 3 consistently crashed MEP and I had to restart it: Fog Factory, Smoke and Sparks. The other 8 worked OK. But all of them seemed incredibly slow to apply.
