Difference between Vandal plugin vs version included with Samplitude?

I bought Samplitude Music Studio a couple of months back (64 bit, 2016 version, 23.0.2.58 DP3). I think it cost about £49.99 or £59.99 if I remember rightly. It came with the Vandel guitar/amp modelling plugin, and I am very happy with how it sounds when I plug my guitar in and record with it.

However, I see that Vandel is also available on to purchase on the Magix website as a plugin, and costs £129.99.

Is there any difference between the Vandel plugin that came with my version of Samplitude and the one that is available to buy separately? To be honest, the one included with Samplitude does everything I need, so I won't be buying the other version. I just wondered if there is any difference between the two? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that Music Studio comes with Vandal SE, which is a "Lite" Edition that's missing a lot of components in the full version (which comes with Samplitude Pro X4 Suite).

The Vandal in Pro X4 Suite is the Retail version, locked to Samplitude (not really, but that's what they say).

If you're going to buy Vandal for $199, then you're better off just getting Samplitude Pro X4 Suite on sale for $149 (was still a thing last time I checked), which includes it and is a massive upgrade over Music Studio.
