Desktop and Laptop Install Single user.

I'm interested in upgrading to Soundforge Pro 14. Its expensive for what it does but i'm familiar with the interface and want 64bit.

My old "Sony" version is installed on a desktop and laptop at the same time. Does version 14 allow this?

My primary use environment is the home desktop but occasionally when travelling I like to play with software.

I will not be using both machines at at the same time but have seen suggestion that you have to deregister one installation before you can use another. Pretty much all my audio (and other) software allows install on two machines with a single user. Some require both machines to be registered some just have an install threshold .

You can use Magix Sound Forge simultaneously on a total of two (2) PCs at the same time. It can be 'installed' on others as well, but one of the two would need to be 'de-activated' and the new one activated.
De-Activation / Activation can be done within SF or on-line through "Magix Sevice Center> My Producs".

Thanks for the prompt response. I've purchased the upgrade.

One comment - hitting F1 for help or clicking the help link "contents and index "goes nowhere.on either machine. .

I have the PDF manual so it isnt the end of the world but it does seem to be broken.

Yes, this was mentioned by ReverendLove in comment #2 in this post and should be fixed with the next update. If your really need it, install the 32 bit version. The 32 bit version does not count as an additional activation when installed on the same PC.
