Do you mean that if you try to put an x3d title from the media pool in the timeline it says it can not be accessed?

Try "resetting the programme to defaults" in the "File" menu.

Thanks for the reply.

I think resetting caused the problem in the first place.

I've found a way round it but it's very frustrating.

I've saved a project; I reload; up comes the message "Can't find..... x3d".

I search and find it; double click; repair movie prog; retry and everything works.

So............

Why can't it find the file? And why does it forget. It's in the default directory.

It's a real pfaff on.
