I am using Sound Forge Pro 14 on a Windows 10 PC with plenty of RAM and storage. I have created a project with CD tracks. When I click Tools/DDP Export an error message appears "SOUND FORGE Pro project files cannot be exported to another application". Please can anyone help? I need a DDP file to send to the CD manufacturers.
What's a CD?
I actually have never used the DDP tool, which was not available on the SCS versions of SF, when audio CDs were main stream. In any case, check the 'CD Settings' in "Options> Preferences" . I got error stating my DDP test the project was not Red Book complaint, (pauses too short), By once I fixed that,it rendered the files w/o question/ The waning can be disabled in the CD settings menu,
FWIW, I had always used CD Architect to author audio CDs, if an image was needed, I burned a master disc on premium quality disc stock, then used ImgBurn to write the image files.
