Custom Hotkeys in Sound Forge 13 PRO?

I had been using Sound Forge Audio Studio 12, which has customizable hotkeys for single keystroke commands. I upgraded to SF Audio Studio 13 and that feature is missing. Only multi-key shortcuts are available for certain functions.

Does SF PRO 13 have the custom hotkey feature? I haven't found any info to confirm.

I am not familiar with AS, There are some default single key commands already in SF Pro (V, P, E, ect.. see Help or the manual for the keyboard shortcut list). You can certainly add custom user keyboard shortcuts (Options> Customize keyboard) but most require at least one modifier key (Ctrl, Alt or Win). You can however assign a single 'Function' key command, for instance I have F8 assigned to "Edit> Repeat". Be aware though that there are two Function key modes, one requires using the 'Fn' key as a modifier, the other does not.

Thanks for the reply. In AS 12, it was easy to apply a single key command using the entire keyboard for various functions under menu headings like Transport, Edit, Process, etc. But they discontinued this in AS 13 for some reason. Do you know if SF PRO 13 allows only for Function keys to be used this way or is the whole keyboard (on a standard keyboard) available for customizable hotkeys?

AFAIK, Data Window, Regions List, Playlist and Plug-in Chainer categories can have single key shortcut commands. Script editor and Global must have modifier key(s). The Transport commands are in the "Data Window" category, so they can have single key commands. Download the Pro 13 demo and experiment.
