Credits - Page flipping

lighthope wrote on 3/17/2016, 2:01 PM

Is there any built in template or way to create pages of different credts.

Not scroll the credits, but flip between different pages?

The hard and dirty way is to create a text box for one page, then another text box for another page, but that is a pain in the neck when you're trying to sync it up to a certain time length.

Is there a different, easier way to do it?

Hi

. . . . Is there any built in template or way to create pages of different credts. . . . .

No - you have to use the titles or preset captions

. . . . Is there a different, easier way to do it . . . .

I use this method:

  1. Set up the first title / credit ie font, font size, colour, position, animation, fade in / out, etc

  2. Copy it.

  3. Paste as many times as required positioning the timeline cursor to the correct start time for each.

  4. Individually change the text and reposition if necessary.

That's how I've been doing it.  I mentioned it in the OP.

Magix really needs to make a template so you can page credits.

Can you explain a little more as I don't really follow what you mean by 'page credits'?

You have a certain amount of text to show. Allowing for an appropriate time for it be read, as I see it you can either scroll it (in various directions) or display it in 'pages'. With whatever transition between pages you like. I've used 'Page Leaf' here:
