I have a Yamaha DTExplorer. When I play the set, I can record a MIDI channel. The Yamaha MIDI key numbers do not match any of the preset drum kits in ACID 11. I created a drum map with the correct key numbers and then assigned them the proper names. However, just naming them doesn't do anything. With that drum map selected, there is no sound when I play back the MIDI channel. I cannot reassign the key numbers in any of the preset drum kits. I have read the online help but it really doesn't tell me what to do. I suspect I need some kind of VST plugin that allows me to assign keys to sounds. Given how common this electronic drumset is, I am hoping someone out there has already solved this problem. What do I do?
