creating a shadow or a silhouette of a moving image

Hi

First may I wish you all a happy new year!

I am making a film of myself moving in front of a green screen but I want my image to look like a dark shadow on a wall or if that is not possible then mabe a silhouette. I don't want my image to be recognizsable, is there a way of doing this in Movie Edit Pro 2015 ? I know all about green screen and croma key so that's not a problem, hope someone can help me.

Regards

Michael

Hi Michael

This can be done using a mask created from the green screen video and then using this with the Chroma Key Alpha to 'punch a hole' in the video to display the black background ( or any other background you wish ) - you do not then need the green screen video in the project..

See this post. for my method of creating the mask is the 5th answer down.
