Hi

Unfortunately it is not possible to copy protect DVD.  There are programs available to crack (illegally) even the best commercial copyright protected DVDs.

The best you can do is put a copyright notice at the beginning and/or end of the DVD movie, on the DVD itself if you can print direct onto it ( I do not recommend the stick on DVD labels)  and on the DVD case insert.

Note - you cannot copyright any material which is not of your own creation ie if it contains a clip from a commercial film, TV programme or someone elses work then you could be breaching their copyright, unless you get express permission to do so.

John.

If you are a Resident of the United States you may file your DVD with the Library of Congress. If your work is that important to you. There is a fee involved, and you will need to send them a copy with your work. If you are posting your work online, say "youtube' you can always watermark your work....by putting your name and year on it, and also be sure to put BOLDLY NOT FOR REBROADACAST on your work. :-)
