CRASHES UPON LOADING NEW UPDATE

Free version Windows 10 loaded update - immediately locked up system. Rebooted, Tried again. Attempted to use the ADD TRACK feature (adding a second track to be able to fade stereo to left and right).......... Program froze AND I got a

nasty little note from Microsoft saying "something went wrong" and rebooted the system automatically.

I was ready to buy the paid version and now I'm shocky ---- is there an analysis to figure out wha't going wrong.

Lots of free memory and RAM - haven't had this problem with a Windows program in years and years.

@John-Guzzino Are all your drivers up to date?

I use a program called Snappy Driver Installer for my own computers. It scans all hardware components and automatically downloads the newest drivers and installs them. With the help of this program I don't need to search for drivers on different websites.

Please be sure to make a backup of your important data before letting the program update your drivers in case something goes wrong and you need to reinstall Windows. But I never had problems with it, it's just a precautionary measure.
