Movie edit pro won't load... crashes with error message: error in module "amdocl64.dll". Here's the screen shot. How do I fix this?

I tried reinstalling... still same error message. Just bought the program last night. Ugh.

@chadbresson

Welcome to the Magix forums.

The error message is saying that the problem is within your installation of something connected with AMD, presumably your CPU? Have you overclocked it? If so, as a first step I would try disabling the overclocking.

This Google page seems to suggest this is not an uncommon problem; various solutions are given but the advice always with such things is proceed with care if you decide to try any of the suggested remedies.

Jeff,

Thanks for the follow-up. Since I wrote this, I updated the driver for the AMD Radeon card, and voila! No more crashes. I'm glad it was that simple... I was not looking forward to attempting some of the fixes I've seen online. :-)
