Coupon Codes Pop-Up?

godsibb wrote on 3/14/2018, 11:04 AM

This is driving me crazy. Earlier when I started up Music Maker, a pink box popped up in the program. I only glanced over it before clicking on it, thinking it would give me more information, but I believe it gave me a couple of coupon codes to get soundpools/instruments as part of a springtime sale, I think? Either way, when I clicked on the box, nothing happened and it just disappeared. I suppose my main question is, is there a way for me to review these "pop-ups" so that I can find those codes? Or, did I just grossly misread what it said and no such codes/sale exist? 😅

I too saw this pop-up, saw the codes briefly, clicked, and the whole thing vanished. And apparently you can never recover those notifications? Not a good way to talk to customers, I think...

Same thing happened to me. I thought, "Cool! Let's see what coupons they have for their loyal customers." Only to click on the pop-up and get absolutely nothing. Way to go, Magix!

Yes, that is sarcasm. It's totally crappy.

UGH THANK YOU
It's not even that big of a deal, but this was driving me insane.

The worst part is, I remembered one of the coupons having the word spring in it, so I tried putting in random codes like SPRINGSALE2018. So close. 😕

You are awesome! Thank you very much.

The in app store in Music Maker won't accept these codes. It says "The minimum order value for this coupon has not been reached." But there's no way to add two soundpools to your order before entering the coupon code. And the website store does not list the soundpools I want. In fact, the website only lists a small fraction of all the soundpools available.

godsibb wrote on 3/23/2018, 11:40 AM

Yeah, so I found out the hard way that it turns out the codes only work on soundpools that cost $25 or more. Except, when I looked through the app store at least, the only ones that fit the "25 or more" criteria are a few collections that cost $50. And, naturally, none of these collections have anything I want AND all the pools I actually want cost 20, a measly five bucks short. You'd think "coupons valued at $25 each" would mean that it would cover the cost of soundpools UP TO $25, but I guess not! All that work for some useless codes. Thanks Magix.

Sheesh.

rrichard63 wrote on 3/23/2018, 11:51 AM

EDIT: These coupon codes don't work at all in the on-line store. I guess the only thing you can do with them is buy $50 collections for $25 in the in-app store. Please ignore the next paragraph.

Thank you. In the website store a few soundpools are listed for $29.99. The same items are listed in the in-app store for $19.99 or $14.99. The coupon codes might work in the website store. But there's nothing in the website store I want -- it only lists a small fraction of the pools listed in the in-app store.

It turns out that these coupons can be used to buy two instruments for $4.99 each instead of $29.99 each.

Hey, you're right! Even though it only says soundpools... Again with the vagueness. At least we can get something out of this. Thanks!

I had this same experience in March and it happened again today June 7th. 2 coupon codes for Music Maker to be used before July 4th 2018. Well, I went searching and I found the coupons in the store 2 $25 coupons with 29.99 purchase. WM2018RU WCUP2018 . Just putting it here for those who search for the popup coupon.
