Could this get more difficult?

Just installed Movie Edit Pro with the intent of editing a 30 minute video down to about 10 minutes, using just a couple cuts, strip the audio and replace it with some music.

Able to import the video file and move it into the timeline board, but the preview monitor is black and doesnt show the video when the play button is clicked. The only way I know it is running is that the audio is playing. How am I supposed to set the cut points without the preview monitor?

Add to that, MEP crashed out 3 times and I am no closer to completing this simple project.

MUCH more information required in order to be able to have any hope of answering your question!

Which version of MEP?  Standard, Plus or Premium?  Format of imported file?  Any other player on your computer which can play this file?  Specs of your computer? etc.etc...

Jeff
