When I try to copy one mp3 file into another, I am told that the sample rates are different (the file I want to insert is at a very high pitch and a high speed). How do I slow it down? (It plays at normal speed before I try to copy it in but by some mysterious magic process plays fast when I insert it).
@Steve-12, Open the suspect file and resample (Process menu) to match the other file. Copy>paste to merge the files together. You likily have a 44.1k and a 48kHz file. 44.1kHz is typical for audio only.
Enabling "Always proxy compressed formats" will help maintain quality.
