Is there any way to use tracks from itunes in MAGIX movie edit pro 14? I know it will work if I burn the tracks to a CD,and then save them in Windows Media Player. Is there a way without downloading a music file converter? Thanks.
Movie Edit Pro generally can import MP3 files. So, that wouldn't be a problem. Are you sure the tracks are in MP3 format? In the context of of iTunes, they're more likely to be AAC encoded, either as M4A or M4P files. Where are they from? Ripped from an audio CD within iTunes? Downloaded from the iTunes shop? Depending on what exactly you got, there might be an easier way to convert them into a suitable format.
If you ripped the tracks from the CDs in iTunes, they probably went to M4A format by default - not supported in Movie Edit Pro 14. (You can re-configure iTunes to rip to standard MP3.) Stuff you downloaded from the iTunes shop would also be in that format, or even in protected M4P format. Also not supported.
If you still have those audio CDs or you can borrow them again, why not import directly from the CDs into Movie Edit Pro? That would be possible.
As far as the files are concerned that you already have, maybe you can convert them into a suitable format first, e.g. WAV or MP3. Obviously, that won't really work for the protected M4P format. If you really have some actual MP3 files that you're having problems importing on your system, also just convert them to WAV.
