i see/hear the audio through the Echo Layla on the computer (8 channel interface) , but when i go to record in samplitude it only lets me record/monitor channels 1-4. even if i only arm channels 6-8, i get nothing. i checked in the "system audio -> audio devices" i see all channels and they are checked. if i am recording lets say channel 2, then switch to 5 using the same track, i get no audio. i'm looking to buy this program i am currently running the demo of samplitude 11, but before i buy i want to make sure they are compatable. does the demo have a 4 input limitation?

thanks,
mike

The demo should have no restrictions in terms of sound card. However the driver is of course the most important. Make sure you are using the actual Layla ASIO driver and that this is the latest driver for your operating system.

Drivers can have a huge factor on how your card will communicate with our software and it is very important they are up do date.
