Hi

If you are re-registering online then the process should be automatic - it should not matter that you have a new computer.

To get the Computer ID of the new installation then you need to select the offline registration option on the registration screen if available.

. . . . now upgraded to one with Win8 . . .

Is this a brand new computer with a fresh installation of the software?

or

Have you cloned the Windows 7 hard drive and then upgraded this to Windows 8 in the other computer?

or

Transferred the software to the Windows 8 machine by another method?

I either of the last two then you will have to do a complete re-install of the software on the Win 8 computer after uninstalling and running the Magix Cleaner

Also if Windows 8 computer is the original version 8 and you upgrade to 8.1 you will have to run the software installer again to fix issues caused by the upgrade.

HTH
