Computer ID of the program

Right now I have a Photo Story 2010 on my computer.  I am trying to buy on line an "Encoder Upgrade" for $4.99.  Before I can complete the purchase, it keeps asking for the "Computer ID of the program I am trying to activate"  What is that?  What do I have to input in that field and where do I find that info?  It does not even let me to complete the purchase.  Very frustrating, Is there a phone number I can call. I have one number, they are not answering.  Bad customer service.  This happened in the past too.

Hi,

Try this: go on the activation screen and choose the option to "Activate via Post / Fax". In there you will find a computer ID code. Copy this code and use it.

If you tried contacting Magix on the weekend, they are closed.
