You have selected the Other Products category in the Audio forum but without a whole lot more information about the program you are using and your computer there is no way anyone can offer advice that is going to be even remotely useful to you. Please read this post to see the very basic minimum of information we need.
i purchased music maker trap edition and when i go to register the product it asks me for a computer i.d. iv searched my computer and cant find computer id
Unfortunately you have still not given ALL the information requested in my last post, especially about your computer and operating system. Without this, any advice is likely to be less than helpful. Once we know which OS you have we should be able to tell you how to find your computer ID.
However, I note you say you have music maker trap edition. I have to admit I have no idea what the trap edition is!
I've never used Windows 8 or 8.1 but I'm pretty certain the procedure is the same as it is in Win 10, which is what I have provided the screenshot below for.
Open Control Panel. If you don't have a shortcut or other quick access to this, simply type Control Panel into the Cortana searchbox and from the offered solutions, select Control Panel Desktop App.
Once in the control panel main screen, towards the top right hand side there is a "View" dropdown; select Large icons.
On the page that then appears find and click on System.
This will open a screen like the one pictured here:
See the highlighted box - I have deliberately obscured the confidential details of my computer. What you need is the "Computer Name" or "Computer Full Name" entry - I think they are likely to be the same.

Sorry to be a pain but there are four "its" in your post which I've highlighted. Unfortunately, I have no idea to what each "it" refers. Without much more precise and exact detail no-one is ever going to be able to help you with this problem.
i tried the computer full name and the outcome displayed error. i have tried this process prior to your instructions. i have called the number for help also but the line hangs up on me over and over. should i try to exchange it for a different program?
