Recently purchased Upgrade MAGIX Music Maker MX Premium.  cannot download. the following message always appears from the Magix Installation Manager: "an error had occurred during communication". What is the problem exactly and how do I resolve? Is it the installation manager? the firewall, the connection? Please help.

I purchased Magix music maker 2016 October time 2016, shortly after Feb 2017 I upgraded to MAGIX Music Maker Premium.

I installed the update for premium today and now it says the files are damaged and the software wont open. After trying various things to sort it I gave up and started using my original Music maker 2016, after a while my entire laptop froze to the point it would not turn off or respond in any way.

When it eventually came back on my soundfile - tune could not be opened.

I only upgraded to premium because the regular version kept crashing all the time and now I find that the premium version is NO BETTER.

Do you have any useful suggestions or should I just contact trading standards.
