Mac user since late 2009, so I've been working with iMovie and Reaper (never got around to using Logic). Anyway, I liked Samplitude many years ago when I had a small project studio. Found it easy to learn and use. Back then, I was using a Korg D1600 for recording, and Samplitude for editing, mixing, and mastering (my education in recording was just beginning about 15 or so years ago). I slowly began to use it for tracking, and then my PC bit the bullet. At that point, it's been all Apple. But, with the recent sale, it made so much sense to come back. Reaper has many positive qualities, and I've made some decent recordings, in the limited time and opportunity I've had. But, I'd like to dedicate a little more time, as a professional musician, to getting my work out there, and hopefully helping others make music. So, time to start learning all that Samplitude and Movie Edit Pro has to offer, and dive in!
