I want the colours of video to have both colour and Black and White. Can anyone tell me how can I acheive that? I use MAGIX MovieEdit Premium. Do Ineed to go to Colour Correction and do something. Can anyone help plz. Do I need to use the mask.
For reference, I have also attached a still picture. However I want the sameeffect on my video.

To do this to a video you would have to edit frame-by-frame. That would be a lot of editing... which I think would be to much to do for anyone at this level.
If the item in the video was centered at all times I could see using a alpha effect mask on the video, but, if the object that is to remain in the colour area moves out of that masked area there would be unwanted results.
I made the following just now using chroma-key. I cut out the original background using Windows Paint and the brightest green they had which made a green screen, then I could use the chroma key effect.
I did this rather quickly so I could answer this. For me to even cut out this one single frame took about 8 minutes. If your recording at 30 frames a second, that would be a lot of editing.
If there is another way, I am not to sure how it would be done without the same type of frame-by-frame editing.
