Please can you tell me why my music studio 14 is asking for a code to it I have paid for this program and how do I solve this problem have tryed to telephone and the internet put it seems I am going nowhere.

Do you mean Music Studio 14 released in 2007 or Music Studio 2014?

Was the program working OK and you have now upgraded to Windows 10 from 7 or 8?

If so then you need to re-install the program following this tutorial.

Otherwise we need more information:

Computer specification - please be specific ie details of processor make/model, RAM, Graphics card / chipset, Audio chipset, hard drive(s) size and configuration if more than one?
Was the program working and is now asking for the serial code?
If the program was working what has changed on the computer? eg:

     Have you used a Registry Cleaner?

     Has a new program been installed?

     Have you changed your antivirus/firewall program?

Hi none of theses I uninstalled music studio 14 from my old laptop and installed it on my new laptop and now it saying you have exceeded the number of activations please contact Magix I have tried to phone can not get through and can not make any sense out off the web site.

Why don't Magix make things a bit more simple.

Send an email to support@magix.com explaining what you have done and ask for the activation counter to be reset - including the full program name and the email address you registered the software with.

Never put your serial number or activation codes on the forum or Internet - no one here should ask you for them..

There is one potential issue - if the new laptop has Windows 10 then Music Studio 14 is not compatible with this version of Windows and you may lose some functionality in the program.

I would advise you to upgrade to the latest version.
