I am above minimums for computer requirements.  While editing the playback "hangs" (won't start) for about 8-20 seconds after pressing play.  same for scrubbing.  Editing is frustrating enough without these lags. any suggestions to get the program to respond as intended?  Working on a laptop.  Previous versions I had always used desktop.  I don't have specs handy right now.  What laptops have worked for you?
