Cleaning up a voice recording ccolreavy wrote on 4/14/2010, 2:14 PM I have recently recorded a voice over using Audio Cleaning lab 16 delux. The recording has been cleaned up and is very clear, however, there is a slight echo which I want to eliminate. How do I achieve this? Thanks, Cliff, Dublin, Ireland Back to post

If it is a really short recording, there may be a way, but I'm not sure if it can be done in ACL. You could simply eliminate the echo'd parts manually between the words. If it's a long recording, it would be a monsterous task. You may be able to do this in a free audio editor like Audacity. I'm pretty sure you can do it with MMM using its wave editor. Not a perfect solution since there will still be "echo" heard during the saved vocal parts. You may want to try some filtering to see if you can reduce it at the very least. 1
