Hi,

Under the Store, More Instruments, click on the gear at the right and select Show purchased items. Scroll down. Do you see Cinematic Synths? At the upper left of the icon, does it have a down arrow, a lock, or nothing except when you scroll over it?

What is the version of MM that you have. See under Help, About. The latest version is 27.0.2.28.

I have the same problem. I had chosen the Cinematic Synths as part of my instruments with my MM Premium purchase. Now that Cinematic Synths is not in my instruments, and it is not listed in the list of instruments in the store, even after selecting "show purchased items". And of course, even worse now the music I made using this instrument don't play the track(s) that use that instrument.

I am using version 27.0.2.28

Grifter wrote on 11/22/2018, 6:05 PM

Just to let you know, I have emailed them about the problem, and they have acknowledged. They have escalated the problem to be fixed.

hmmmm so anyone had any update yet?

Vincent-Allain wrote on 11/26/2018, 5:29 AM

No update yet.

I believe what happens is when Magix releases a new version of the Music Maker (i.e. the 2019 version) there are soundpools and instruments that won't show up in older versions. I still have the 2018 Premium version and I have also noticed that a lot of soundpools don't show up in the store anymore. But if I purchase the 2019 upgrade for $70, then they would (is my guess). I think this is the way they encourage users to keep purchasing the upgrades.

Where do you have that information? This doesn't make any kind of sence. As you can read above it was not available by acident like @Vincent-Allain said. I also reported it to the developement team and they told me that they take a look at the problem.

Also how can you force a person to upgrade to the 2019 when the base programm is available for free? EVERY User can switch to Music Maker 27 (which was introduced with the 2019 edition) for free. The limitis can be removed even with a Music Maker MX license. So how does this encourage users to keep purchasing the upgrades.

Stop talking fake news.

I can see something called Cinematic Soundscapes if that's the same thing.

This is described as:

Explore icy, vast expanses of sound and create depth and tension with Cinematic Soundscapes. Its sound library includes four basic categories: Bells, Pads, Drones and Winds. Most sounds here are encapsulated in a dark, almost oppressive aura, making this instrument the perfect choice for film scores, as a background for hard rap tracks or abstract electronic tunes.

Integrated effect modules:

Chorus
Distortion
Bitcrusher
Reverb
Flanger
Phaser
Delay

89 presets

Hi,

No. In the image below, right side, Store showing purchased items, it's not there. I have advised Magix as well.

Something is wrong with the Store. At least I have it installed and it shows up under instruments both in the Media Pool at the right and in the list after clicking on the +.

Once again, if you upgrade to 2019, it's a new version that will uninstall the previous version. You then have to Activate at least once. Activation codes for installed editions should show up in the activation screen. Click on one and they all get activated. Then go to the Store and select one thing that you have and try to download and install it. This opens the Download Manager and you'll see everything to which you are entitled has to be downloaded and installed again, including some Soundpools. Do so.

As Larry says, the update to 2019 is free.

i can download all soundpools, but the instruments don't show. But i do see them in the store so i can download them, expect for the cinematic synths... They don't show in the store, and it seems noone can see them... This is a magix store problem imo

brian-hill wrote on 11/29/2018, 5:48 PM

This must be something recent because I upgraded Magix when the upgrade came out and I was able to redownload Cinematic Synths and I have it in my instrument pool. But you are correct, it doesn't show up in the store anymore. I still have access to it and can use it, but it's not in the store.

Hi,

the instrument "cinematic synth" is again available in the store. If it is not visible yet, please reset the store.

It still does not show for me. How do I "reset the store"?

EDIT: Ok I think I found it. In the Program Settings, General Options tab, there is a "Clean up store" button. After I clicked that, the program restarted and the Cinematic Synth is back in the store. At that point, Cinematic Synth is not seen as being an already purchased item. You have to log back in the store, then click on "Download all purchased content". The download started then, and all is now good. Thank you!

Grifter wrote on 12/1/2018, 7:06 AM

yes indeed, after a store reset it is back again!
