Chroma Key: Is there a way if my background is a cloud video to cut portion of it using a black box photo? so that within the black box, I can run a slide that moves?

If you look at the middle of this video,     I have a box where the photo slide is and background is a cloud video.   But b/c the photo is a box infront of the background video, I can't have the slides move within the video.

I would appreciate if you know of a trick to get around this or somehow to carve out a section within a video so I can have things move within that section... ^^

Thank you inadvance for your help...

Hi,

I'm assuming that by 'a slide that moves' you mean a rectangularly framed still image like the one you showed that moves around the screen.

If so you don't need Chroma Key, either for the static example you presented or for one with 'a slide that moves'.

Just use the key frame controls in Effects > Movement effects > Size/Position. You don't say what version of MEP you have, but these features are well-covered in the PDF Manual. Also use the Search tool on the right, as key frame effects are discussed in many posts. Try also the term Picture In Picture (or PIP).
