Chroma Key Background turns Grey for Green Screen

When I use green screen and go into special settings and use the chroma key for green background, I get a grey background - it does not go transparent. Really frustrating and this never happened before. I am using 2021 version software.

It's a bug. See the results of typing 'green screen' into the Search box at the top of the page:

The work around is to use Chromakey Color instead of Green and select a bit of the green screen.
