Changing the BPM mid song?

Yorokobi wrote on 4/7/2018, 3:04 AM

Hello everyone! I have a question which I can't seem to find the solution to myself.

Is there a feature (I am using Magix Music Maker Premium Version (2017 I think? Or the newest...)) to change the beat slowly in the song, like it goes faster and faster? I am needing it for a new project I am working with and it would be perfect for this situation to change the BPM (let's say from 180 to 200). If this version of Music Maker doesn't have that feature... Is there an alternative solution? Thanks in advance, everybody!

Hi,

You cannot have a variable BPM or more than 1 BPM with MusicMaker. For this, you would need at least Magix Samplitude Music Studio.

Couldn't you change the BPM using the Tempo pitch/resample feature under the Inspector tab?

Hi

. . . . Couldn't you change the BPM using the Tempo pitch/resample feature under the Inspector tab? . . . .

You could, however, in Music Maker it has to be done to each and every object you want to change the tempo of, and this can be very time consuming especially if you want to ramp up/down the tempo rather than use discrete steps.

Ideally there should be an Automation effect to do this.
