@SPow

Hi,

You simply click on the instrument (where the + was) in the track header and change the instrument.

Hi John CB,

I do that and so the icon changes, but no difference in sound when I play it back....?

SP. wrote on 12/15/2023, 3:17 PM

@SPow Be sure to make a left click on the icon and not a right click.

SPow wrote on 12/25/2023, 9:45 AM

The left click still doesn't change anything. Do I need to highlight the recorded track. I can't understand why it doesn't change. I left click it and choose bass from the Vita Solo Instruments list but no change. Is it anything to do with my drivers Music Maker Asio Out (1 + 2). 'Driver Selection': Asio driver: Music Maker Asio. Thanks

@SPow Can you show us some screenshots where you click and what you see? Maybe we are talking about different things?

You can upload images to this forum via the arrow icon above the response text box.

@SPow

Hi

In the left image above, the object on track 3 is a Soundloop file - this is an audio file not a MIDI object, therefore cannot be changed.

Hi John, sorry, no that is just what I tried changing the sound to last. So when I play it, I hear my MIDI keyboard recording. I have tried changing it to lots of different sounds and the last one was a soundloop file.
